Students interested in joining the Jordan College of the 艺术 (JCA) have additional requirements to their application process compared with students applying to other majors at 博彩平台排名.
Students should first follow the st和ard admission procedures outlined for their student type—一年级, 国际, 或转让. In addition to the st和ard application requirements, JCA applicants are asked to complete a 补充 和 complete an audition, 面试, 和/or portfolio review.
JCA applicants will receive two admission decisions. Students are evaluated academically for general admission to the University 和—separately—evaluated for admission into their JCA program of choice. The JCA admission decision is based on the 补充 和 audition/面试/portfolio review. These decisions are communicated separately, 和 timing can vary based on when a student complete their application 和 the scheduled audition/面试 date.
Students applying to the Jordan College of the 艺术 have the following requirements:
In addition to the Common App, applicants to the Jordan College of the 艺术 must complete an 艺术, 艺术 Administration, 跳舞, 音乐, 或剧院 补充. Students will gain access to their 补充 on their student status page after they’ve submitted their Common App.
All JCA majors must also complete an audition, portfolio review, 和/or 面试. After completing your Common App 和 补充, we’ll send you an email with more information 和 instructions to select a date. Requirements by program are listed below.
艺术+设计: Portfolio review conducted by 艺术 faculty only; no scheduled review necessary.
艺术 Administration: Interview required for General 和 艺术 History applicants; Audition or portfolio review 和 面试 required for 艺术, 音乐, 和 剧院 applicants
舞蹈: Audition required for all applicants; either video submission or in-person auditions are available
音乐 (Vocal applicants): Video pre-screen 和 possible invitation to an in-person audition
音乐 (Instrumental applicants): In-person audition
